2025 ARC-CO / PLC Payment Maps

PLC (per base acre):
max(0, EffRef − max(MYA, Loan)) × PLC Yield × 85%
PLC Yield defaults to 75% of the RMA ECO Expected County Yield (by practice) as a proxy for the farm-level PLC yield. Override with the farmer's actual PLC yield on file with FSA for customer-specific estimates.

ARC-CO (per base acre):
Benchmark Yield = county-and-practice-specific (FSA ARC-CO 2025 file, 2019–23 Olympic avg)
Benchmark Price = max(ARC Bench Price, Effective Reference Price)
Benchmark Revenue = Benchmark Price × Benchmark Yield
Guarantee = 90% × Benchmark Revenue  (OBBBA, was 86%)
Actual Revenue = max(MYA, Loan) × (HyDRA Yield × Actual%/100)
Payment Rate = min(max(0, Guarantee − ActRev), 12% × Benchmark Revenue)  (OBBBA, was 10%)
ARC = Payment Rate × 85%
Counties without published ARC-CO benchmark yield data appear blank on the ARC map.

Important caveats: The HyDRA "Average Yield" is a county expected yield used for crop insurance underwriting, not actual harvested yield. To approximate a real 2025 scenario, adjust the "Actual / Exp" column. PLC and ARC are paid on base acres × 85%, which differ from planted acres — these figures are $/acre for visualization, multiply by your farm's specific base acreage. Effective Reference Prices and ARC benchmark prices shown are defaults under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act / 2025 changes; verify against current FSA publications before sharing customer-specific figures.
